About Me

I know it takes tremendous courage to ask for help. It is my job to navigate your journey towards a joyful, fulfilling life with loving relationships.

Allow me introduce myself. It is important for you to see if we are a good match.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) I have over 23 years of experience in private practice. I am passionate about helping adults, children, teenagers, young adults and families gently work through issues, both physically and emotionally.

Over the years I have witnessed the transformative effects of psychodynamic, attachment focused, top-down talk therapy. However, I often experienced its limitations in treating relational trauma, shock trauma (accidents for example), and the chronic resulting symptoms they cause, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). When I discovered Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), Dr. Peter Levine’s groundbreaking trauma therapy, I realized I had found the missing piece to my approach. Through SE I got in touch with Maggie Kline’s innovative SE work with children, and NeuroAffective Touch®, developed by Dr. Aline LaPierre.

SE and NeuroAffective Touch allowed me to integrate a gentle, safe and transformative body-oriented approach, helping my clients restore a sense of joy, presence and meaningful connection with self and others, while healing the cause of their issues.
